A health care risk management firm needed to expand operations across multiple cities while centrally controlling network functionality and a VOIP phone system. The primary concern was reliable communication, so a fully meshed and redundant VPN design was implemented on a network that was created to withstand single points of failure throughout the entire network infrastructure.

Sample 3: Large Retailer, POS Application Database, Central Server and Credit Card Processing
Large retailer with 450+ locations needed reliable communication to come back to a central server farm for a Point of Sale Application Database. In addition, all Credit Card Processing was centrally controlled from within the server farm. The solution was a fully redundant network with a multi-homed VPN solution for the stores that included a failover connection for the VPN.
