Account Manager

Full-Time Position
Local Candidates Only (Houston, TX)

Position Summary:

Experienced Account Manager needed to drive sales of self managed and third party managed network solutions in the mid-size and Fortune 1000 markets.  This position requires proven success and expertise calling on IT departments within corporate accounts. This sales position is responsible for ongoing development of new business relationships. Individual must have a thorough understanding of end user accounts, with the ability to influence corporate standards within IT at Fortune 1000 companies. This sales position requires adept sales ability and demonstrated proficiency in time and territory management. We are looking for a seasoned professional who enjoys working in a team environment with minimal guidance.  Must have the ability to deliver monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas.  Strong communication and presentation skills a must. A significant share of revenue from the territory must be delivered from new accounts; this is an integral part of this assignment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5 plus years of sales experience.
  • Demonstrated success in turning over New Business.
  • Experience selling to the Information Technology community.
  • Strong teamwork mentality.
  • Experience working with large end users.
  • Microsoft Office skills.
  • Broad knowledge of computer industry, technology, and territory base is essential.
